Mike Palmer - Peterborough, ON
Mike Palmer is a photographer and director based in Toronto, Canada. He has contributed to publications like NYT’s Departures, Sharp, Toronto Life, The Globe & Mail, and photographed and directed countless commercial advertisements and marketing campaigns for brands such as Levi’s, Canada Goose and Hallmark, while also exhibiting his fine art at numerous galleries such as Hermann & Audrey, Project Gallery, St. Lawrence Centre forthe Arts, and more recently at Montreal’s Biosphere – Museum of the Environment. Mike’s directorial debut was a comedic action short film titled “Easy Money”, premiering at Film North, Huntsville International Film Festival. Since then he has continued to direct online content, commercials and documentaries, including “Bomb Girls: Scarboro’s Best Kept Secret”, that screened at multiple festivals, including UK’s prestigious Sheffield International Documentary Festival. Mike continues to challenge himself to develop compelling stories and remains passionate about communicating through his art.
